So as a young person, I was heavily involved in the martial arts, starting age 14 and spanning 30+ years. My school not only studied the physical aspects, but also focused heavily on philosophy, so much so, we were required to write papers for each rank advance... last evening, my meditation brought me back to the concept of the Four Noble Truths in Buddhism. Just wanted to share. This is a very generic introduction, but timely just the same.
