Happy National Soup Day! We celebrated the best way we know how: having a soup potluck! We had all kinds of soup from stuffed pepper to broccoli and cheese to minestrone and tortilla soup. MOST of it was homemade 😂 (we don’t judge here).

I am proud to introduce Debbie B. as our resident spotlight for the month of March.

For Debbie, family means love, support, and togetherness - and she has built a beautiful life centered around all three. As a proud mom of four sons and grandmother to fifteen grandchildren, Debbie's greatest joy has always been celebrating her family's accomplishments and building them up every step of the way. One memory that stands out most to Debbie is the day her third grandson got his driver's license. The very first place he chose to drive was to his grandfather's grave. That simple heartfelt gesture meant the world to Debbie and spoke volumes about the love and legacy her husband left behind.

Debbie met her husband in high school band when their director asked her to help him learn a song. They were friends for three years, dated for nine months, and then went on to share 45 wonderful years of marriage. When asked what made their marriage last so long, Debbie laughs and says, "He worked days and I worked nights!" - but their story clearly reflects deep friendship and commitment.

Above all, Debbie hopes her family will remember her for her kindness and her faith. If the love and devotion surrounding her are any indication, that legacy is already shining brightly.
