I put something on my husbands burn on Sunday!

I can’t believe the difference in just a few days, it’s almost a miracle!

I’m so glad that my husbands healing quickly, the exposed burn was so painful. It’s still tight and uncomfortable but he’s on the path to recovery!

Can you believe it???

As a mom……as a wife…. We often forget to listen to the inner voice inside of us….

The voice screaming and saying “you need a break”

If your like me… you probably push yourself to all your mental and physical anguish, until you snap.

Then you go through a vicious cycle of self loathing, depression, and anxiety.

I just want to remind everyone of you….. even if your the only one that sees it…..

YOU work hard everyday to make life happen
YOU deserve grace and recognition
YOU need to take time for you!!!

For all those momma’s feeling unappreciated…. I see you working hard.

Keep it up, girl, you’re a queen. You deserve to be treated like it!!!

On December 9, 2014….. it was one of the hardest days of my life.

After an amazing day or celebration, with a few weird incidents…. My wonderful nephew decided to come home with us from Christmas festivities in allenstown.

It at started with what we thought was anxiety and then heart burn. But years of watching him struggle with acid reflux, I knew it wasn’t what it seemed.

My nephew stayed with my sons while I brought him to the ER.

My 29 year old husband had a 98% blockage and after a very scary night got a stint.

Our health became an instant priority and for everyone who has watched us.

He lost 80 pounds and I’ve lost almost 40.

Take our story to heart, go to the doctor, listen to what they say, and take care of you before damage is done PLEASE!! My husband was too young for this.

It’s tough being a mom with a chronic illness.

I never want to make excuses but I have to listen to my body too!!!

I have to be careful not to over do it… and frequently I do and then have to recuperate.

I just hope my kids know, I did all I had in myself for them!!!
