Good lift days really are the best.
This time last year my deadlift PR was 265 and I was so focused on chasing numbers that I forgot to listen to my body.
This year I did something different.
I stopped forcing heavy days and started syncing my training to my cycle instead. I stayed consistent with when I lifted heavy instead of stressing over how much.
And wow… it paid off.
After already crushing 4 sets of front squats, I surprised myself with:
• 195 x 10
• 215 x 10
• 235 x 10
All in one session. Just moving in my strongest phase and hyping me up to go for more. 💪🏾
That moment reminded me what confidence feels like again. These are the moments I truly realize my body follows a rhythm. I might not have felt like I was ready to lift more however peak performance was on my side this week.
