I had the sincere pleasure of being a student to Mark Eiglarsh today, a Criminal Defense Attorney and Legal Expert/Analyst for CNN/HLN/FOX News and so many other media outlets.

I have been following his career since the Casey Anthony trial and have tremendous respect for what he does. I want to do it too. Weigh in as a well respected forensic psychologist on high profile cases. You will see me there someday!

Thank you for the very cool opportunity to see you in action for a live FOX News interview; to pick your brain, receive your mentorship, and analyze one of your cases. It was an unforgettable experience!

Ready to hear the best news, the big reveal I hinted at a few days ago?

You’re looking at the most excited, new sole owner of Alliance for Psychological Services (APS) in Miami, Florida. APS is a full service, private psychology practice and premier clinical training site for metal health practitioners committed to positively impacting their communities.

This is a big dream of mine, finally realized. I have been at Alliance for 13 years, having worked my way up from psychology trainee to Clinical Supervisor, eventually Co-Owner, and now, Sole Owner and badass .

A little about me is that I grew up in small town Texas, from meager beginnings. I have worked through and seen a lot in my life, both personally and professionally. I am incredibly proud to have accomplished this major milestone, at 39 years old, with my young family and excellent team by my side.

APS is my home, and houses an alliance of expert mental health professionals with a diverse set of clinical skills and experiences. We are no strangers to complex, high conflict, or high profile cases. We provide the most specialized clinical and forensic psychology services in the South Florida area because we are the most competitive site for MH practitioners to receive rigorous education and training in the field of forensic and clinical psychology. Masterful clinicians provide insightful and empirically validated therapies and evaluations to clients under the supervision of ethical and competent licensed psychologists.

And we’re moving locations! More to come on that later and happy to take y’all along with me on this exciting journey but SO ready to own this, to do this, and move forward into our bright future. Jumping because we are leveling up! 🤩🎉🥳

I sang for my supper last night at the KidSide house party, which was a great success! Just trying to raise funds for !

Kidside funds programs like mine, , so that FREE therapy services can be given to children and families referred by the Family Court.

My team is providing invaluable services to vulnerable populations, for free! This is only possible because of generous donations to KidSide.

Last month, several daycare workers in Mississippi put on 'Scream' masks & tried to scare the children at the daycare.

What kind of psychological impact that does that have on children? What could be the psychological motivation behind such acts?

This week it's all about child psychology and the impact of trauma.

I share my insights on the story and talk about possible impacts of trauma on the children as they get older. I offer a broader perspective on caring for children with trauma and why it's crucial to offer them a safe, nurturing environment.

Dr. Tigges does Chicago for the How Not To Suck At Divorce Podcast! Had such a blast today recording the latest episode for YouTube and everywhere else you can download this amazing podcast!

This latest episode is special bc it details my early work with the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, a.k.a. the FLDS.

It was truly a unique experience I will never forget. Helping women and children to break free from the Church’s authoritarian rule. Please listen on Nov 17th for how you can help other underserved populations; victims of trauma just like the children of the FLDS.

Tomorrow, Marked By Covid will dedicate a very cool virtual memorial to the victims of Covid-19, one of which was her father, Mike Horton, who passed in April 2020.

So excited to see my girl. Hollywood!! My dearest friend. No kids. We’re hitting rooftop lounges tonight!
