Do you need First Aid 🩹 and CPR ⛑️training free of charge? A local club in Alexandria will pay for low-income individuals that live in the city of Alexandria 22306, 22308, 22309. During the course students learn to recognize sudden, potentially fatal diseases such as: a stroke, heart attack, extreme bleeding, treating burns, choking, anaphylaxis, asthma/diabetes attacks, heat stroke, hypothermia, and poisoning.

Students also learn how to perform CPR compressions using mannequins to practice. You also learn to do abdominal thrusts and back blows to help a person who is choking. Students will learn how to use a defibrillator machine. Participants that successfully pass the one day, four hour course receive a two-year certificate from the American Red Cross.
