. Fighting racial oppression against us are not only moral and civic duties, fighting until judgement runs down like water is our Christian duty. is doing necessary work.
Nobody is “re-opening” the wound of racism. It never closed. It was never treated properly from the inside out, de-brided, washed, cleaned properly, nor the correct potent medication applied. It never healed. It never faded away. The causative racist-bacteria was never eradicated. Due to the absence of those in power killing that bacteria, it multiplied and grew.. Those wounds that appear closed, are only keloids of improperly healed scar tissue.
We as Black people have been opening our hearts and trying to change minds for over a century. Prejudiced and racist white people keep moving the goal post. They paint all of us with a broad brush and hold us accountable for the actions of some Black people, while hypocritically refusing to use a broad brush to paint themselves as all mass murderers and children killers based on the frequent unprovoked mass murders perpetuated by white men. They call us inherently savage and violent, while ridiculously ignoring their own proven history of sweeping violence against Native Americans and blacks. Native Americans opened their hearts and minds to help white people entering this land. We see the result.
The to being racist is not ours!!! it belongs to the racist. We are not imagining the plethora of body worn cameras evidencing horrid police brutality against us, white people falsely calling police just because we exist, no the blatantly open agenda trying to turn back the clock on our civil rights.
Racism an ever present evil. There is a time for peace, but there is a time for war. There is a time to keep silent, but there is also a time to speak. Jesus was not always and only the sacrificial lamb hanging silently on the cross, but He was also the savior turning tables over in John 2:15. Black people are not required to keep silent about the racism affecting us. Jasmine Crockett is doing work.
