PJ Zimpelmann & Son, established in 1947 by Peter J Zimpelmann III, has entered its 4th generation of ownership and nearly 70 years of business. In this time we have established ourselves as one of the most diversified and unique rep agencies in the U.S. Zimpelmann & Son built a foundation based on the representation of companies that predominately focused on the ever growing automotive industry. Zimpelmann and the manufacturing marketplace grew in size it became quite evident there was a need to diversify our company into a multiple markets and this has been an ongoing process for almost seven decades. Today, P.J Zimpelmann & Son has extended it’s range into a vast array of products such as knife coated upholstery vinyl, laminated and coated vinyl for industrial and athletic use, decorative fabrics, polyurethanes, leather, solution dyed acrylics, thread, zippers, webbing, and hook & loop. This wide collection of product offerings has allowed P.J. Zimpelmann & Son to expand its business into numerous markets both foreign and domestic. Currently, you can see our products virtually everywhere you look as we have had a great impact on such marketplaces as hospitality, healthcare, institutional, contract office, worship, marine, aviation, jobbers & distributors, athletic, inflatable, tent & awning, digital & screen print, truck cover, contract sewing. With the many changes that have taken place over the years, PJ Zimpelmann & Son has entered in to the 21st century well prepared to sell and service the many growing needs of our existing customers as well as our ever growing crop of new customers. We have also made a strong commitment in the area of Research & Development for new technologies involving textiles of all types.

While we still manufacture leather at our original factory location in Ohio, we now also work with a network of artisanal tanneries around the globe to deliver a unique collection of the finest leathers.
