He Didn’t Stop Lifting. He Just Added Yoga.
:
Sometimes the strongest people are the most hesitant to try something new.
This student has lifted weights for many years. Strength was never the question. But when he first walked into yoga, he’ll tell you himself ..”he felt stiff, awkward, and unsure of where he fit”
And believe me… it took some convincing.
:
Still, he kept showing up. Week after week, trusting the process.
And something shifted.
:
His body began to open.
His stability improved.
The stiffness started to fade.
Now coworkers are asking what he’s doing differently. Something about him looks different.
He is also finding himself talking to others openinly about his practice.
It shows in his posture.
In the way he carries himself.
In the presence he brings with him into a room.
and how right before you leave for work .. you feel the need to hit “Dancers Pose” 😂💪
:
This is the beauty of the practice!!!! On so many levels!
We can’t push or force someone to show up🙌
Instead, we live it. We continue our practice, embody it, and walk the path.
And then people begin to notice.
:
They start asking, “What are you doing differently?”
Because the proof is in the doing and the trusting.
:
Yoga doesn’t replace what you love …it supports it and because integrated into all.
You don’t have to stop lifting weights.
You simply add balance.
More mobility.
More stability.
More awareness in the body you already work so hard to build and the energy in how you feel.
One of our deep rooted love languages… is our devotion to our own health
