Dr. Mukhtar is an endocrinologist and board-certified in internal medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, IL, and his Endocrinology fellowship at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville, FL.

His clinical interests include diabetes management, thyroid disorders and thyroid cancer, bone health and osteoporosis, pituitary disease, and general endocrinology. Dr. Mukhtar is now seeing patients in West Nyack, NY.
