so this happened recently 👀

and just a reminder whether you join us for our monthly thriver chats or on our thriving facebook group, rest assured that will forever be a safe space 🫶🏻

the internet is a power tool and having misinformation reach just one person who is newly diagnosed can have devastating effects

only those of us who have fought cancer (or continue to fight cancer) truly understand this

when we experience a loss on social media we don’t feel it alone, we feel it as a community

our online friends that we may have never even met in real life but feels like we have and that’s because when we share our cancer journeys and truly share them — the good AND the bad, there’s an invisible bond that can’t be seen but is felt by each and everyone of us

hearing of a fallen thriver sister is never easy but I’m here to remind you that their story isn’t your story 🫂💕

I said I would beat cancer and then I did it

but not just for me but for those who would come after me, especially the ones being diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer 🎗️

back in 2018 there wasn’t a lot of survivor stories on the internet and I was determined to be one that gave you hope

if you’re newly diagnosed, in active treatment or navigating fear of recurrence — you got this 🫶🏻💕

thank you for everything, 2025 🥂

2025 was the year of the snake, the year for shedding and growth and I can say it did exactly that — my heart finally let go of what it was holding on to, lots of journaling and reflection (shout out to for teaching me to let them and let me) 📖💕

we also sold our first house, the house we bought as newlyweds — the decision to sell and move was an extremely hard one (peep the puffy eyes in this video 🥲) but was right decision and we are so excited to be back in our hometown

but 2025 also brought a lot of wonderful things such as buying my “I beat cancer” A4 that I always wanted, getting to see live in concert as well as adding another year to my cancer survivorship 🎗️

reminder if you had a challenging 2025, you were supposed to 🐍

2026 is the year of the horse, a year to go after our passions with positivity, abundance and new beginnings!

and I can’t wait to meet you 2026! 🪩✨

two cancer survivors from go to the state capital to advocate for the new tinton falls campus and fight for future of world cancer care in central new jersey

it was truly an honor to have had the opportunity to speak on behalf of monmouth medical center, to share my story and what a vote in favor of the new vogel medical campus would do to help support the current and future cancer patients in new jersey

thank you for having me ! 🎗️

I was 33 years old when I was fighting advanced stage 3C triple negative breast cancer and every time I read a story about someone falling to the disease I thought I would be next

Until my mom said five words that changed my thinking that I still repeat to myself in my survivorship

✨their story isn’t your story✨

Write it down, screen shot it, save it — whatever you need to do and re-read it on the hard days

I learned that their story wasn’t mine and neither were the statistics that said I wouldn’t be here 7 years later 🎗️💕

last night I had the honor of shining my light with my two favorite organizations, and

not to mention, I got to sit next to thee .md! 🥲

I finally got to see the NYC Hope Lodge in person which has been such a dream of mine but the best part of the night was getting to speak to the patients staying at the Hope Lodge, they truly refilled my cup 🫶🏻✨

thank you again and for all that you do in the oncology space, together we can help support all cancer patients in every step of their journeys 🎗️
