Boutique general dental office in Westminster is looking for a bilingual (English and Vietnamese/Spanish) full-time dental assistant.

A candidate should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. Experience is preferred. We will provide additional training on the job.

Responsibilities

Welcome patients in the dental office
Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
Set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist during treatment
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
Rotation with front desk's duties as needed:
Answer the phone, schedule appointments. Maintain accurate records and assist with payment procedures. Verify insurance

Requirements

Fluent in English, and conversational in Vietnamese or Spanish
Dental X-Ray License preferred
Covid 19 Vaccination required
Good computer skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
High school diploma, graduating from dental assistant school is preferred
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience

9 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Thursday, and Saturday
Experience:

Dental Assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
If coming in as experienced dental assistant:
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Ability to assist with common dental procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
