When we are start talking about health biohacks, we need to make sure that we are covering the very basic first: hydration!
Many times we may be focusing on vitamins, supplements or next big thing in herbal discoveries, while still dealing with a dehydrated body.
As we already know, most of our bodies is water.
Up to 60% of the human adult body is water. According to H.H. Mitchell, Journal of Biological Chemistry 158, the brain and heart are composed of 73% water, and the lungs are about 83% water.
This means that water is involved in every single system and function of our bodies, from thinking, to breathing, to oxygenating our blood, thus cleaning, detoxing and renewing every cell.
Lack of water can feel like hunger, sometimes shows as different pains and often as if ants were crawling inside your extremities. Tiredness, lack of energy and even excessive sleepiness can all be associated with dehydration.
The best thing you can do today is lift and down that glass of water! Make sure to filter it from chemicals and bring it back to life with a bit of lemon juice, fruit infusions or even a small cap of organic apple cider vinegar. Your body will thank you for it!
