Lately, my days have been shaped by intentional living.

Not just in business —
but in how I move my body,
how I get outdoors,
how I pause, breathe, and attune to something deeper.

Today included one of those meetings that feels important without being heavy.
Not a breakthrough…
more like a movement that’s been quietly unfolding for a while now.

We took breaks.
We walked outside.
We stayed human.
We used AI — and stayed deeply personal.
We honored focus, clarity, and care for ourselves along the way.

That combination matters.

I feel healthy.
Focused.
Peaceful.
Joyful.

And I’m genuinely excited about what’s being nurtured right now —
it will be born soon, and you’ll hear more about it.

For now, I’m grateful for days that feel aligned from the inside out.

Christmas Day, our way. 🌿

A morning hike on the trail —
lush green grass, rain clouds rolling in,
2 Minute Yoga wherever there’s space to pause,
in between storms with Mount Tam quietly watching in the background.

And then…
that evening.

Three sets of hands,
the last bites of a shared charcuterie board,
conversation lingering longer than the food.

This is what a Live. Longer. Happier. life looks like to me:
✨ moving the body
✨ being outdoors
✨ sharing simple meals
✨ letting the day unfold without rushing
✨ connection in its many forms

Not perfect.
Not elaborate.
Just present.

We will MOVE-BREATHE-CENTER as we cultivate clear intention, steady energy and purposeful action to start each week.

It’s hard to believe it’s been 44 years since I first began practicing yoga —
so long ago that the yoga mat hadn’t even been invented yet.

Like many people, I was initially drawn to yoga for the physical benefits — and yes, those were real and meaningful.
But in 1984, when I completed my yoga teacher training with Ananda, based on the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda, everything deepened.

I came to understand that the physical postures are just the tip of the iceberg.
Yogananda’s teachings go far beyond movement — into meditation, breath, energy, consciousness, and something that often surprises people… success.

Success in health.
Success in relationships.
Success in service and livelihood.
Success in living with clarity, purpose, and joy.

I’m grateful that, in the tradition of these teachings, I’m once again offering Monday Morning Success Meditations.
Even on Zoom, the connection and energy are real — the yogis understood this long before our modern world caught up.

Each week, we explore one of Yogananda’s “gold nuggets” on success and pair it with meditation and reflection.
It’s simple.
It’s powerful.
And it’s a beautiful way to begin the week — and the year.

A misty hike.
Rain that comes and goes.
Fog drifting through the trees.
A waterfall crossing our path.
Two-minute yoga wherever there’s space to pause. 🌿

Today was one of those days that reminds me how a new year truly begins —
not perfectly, not all at once, but step by step.

Movement in nature.
Being present with the people you love.
Knowing when to keep going… and when to stop short and turn back.
Ending the day with a simple, nourishing meal meant to bring good luck and abundance. 🍽️

This is my wish for you as we begin the year:
✨ a healthy body
✨ a happy heart
✨ moments of joy along the way
✨ and a start that feels grounded and real

Here’s to a Live. Longer. Happier. year ahead — however your path unfolds.

You might think this is a little unusual…
but I’m genuinely looking forward to an eight-hour meditation tomorrow.

I’ve done it before, so I know what it offers — not eight hours of “trying,” but a day that includes meditation, chanting, inspirational readings, and simply being.

This year feels different though.

There’s a deeper readiness for stillness… and a real gratitude that I get to just participate and receive.

As we move toward the solstice and into a new moon, it feels like the perfect moment for this kind of pause.
A natural turning inward.
A chance to reflect, release, and listen more closely.

Not everyone is called to hours of meditation — and that’s okay.
But most of us could benefit from some quiet space this weekend.

That might look like:
✨ time alone
✨ journaling
✨ meditation
✨ prayer
✨ uplifting music
✨ being in nature
✨ or simply doing less

These thresholds — the end of a year, the shift of light, new beginnings — invite us to ask:

How do I want to move forward?
What do I want to nurture?
What’s ready to be released?

I’d love to know…
What kind of quiet or reflective time are you craving right now?

What intentions are beginning to form for you?

Walking along the San Francisco Bay today, I had one of those quiet “pause… I can’t believe this is happening” moments. 🌊

I was heading in to get a National Parks Pass and realized…
I was about to ask for the senior one.

I’ll admit — I hesitated for a second.
I don’t feel like a senior.

But there I was.
I asked.
The ranger did a double take.
I showed my ID.
And she happily handed me the card. 😊

It made me reflect on something I’ve known for a long time:
Longevity isn’t about denying age — it’s about how we live inside it.

For me, it’s a blend of the ancient and the modern:
✨ yoga and movement
✨ being outdoors
✨ nourishment and connection
✨ supplements — including natural peptides
✨ staying curious, engaged, and joyful

I’m grateful for all the years…
and for feeling strong, present, and alive inside them.
