Our Story...

Marrika Rodgers is the CEO/Founder of Rodgers Counseling & Consulting Firm, LLC. As a young child, Marrika has dreamed of being a mental health professional. She would often speak with her parents about future career plans, since the age of 7 years old. During her elementary years, she would spend library time reading books about mental health & alochol and drug abuse. Growing up in a home with two parents who were entreprenurs, it was very fitting that she too went on to become a serial entreprenur. Marrika has her Bachelors of Business Administration & General Administration, Masters of Science with an emphasis in Professional Counseling and currently in pursuit of her Doctoral Degree. Her theraputic approaches include: Person - Centered, Trauma Informed, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing. She has been in the mental health field since 2012. Her client has ranged from children (as young as 4yrs old), youth and adults. She enjoys providing group counseling, one of her experiences include CBT groups for the re-entry population. In addition to her passion for mental health services, she is also passionated about business coaching / consulting. Marrika has assisted many small business owners start up, expand their businesses, strategically plan, trained staff and helped develop leaders, etc. She enjoys assisting individuals flourish in all aspects, personally and professionally.
