***Final Wellness Walk of the season! If you missed any of our wellness outings, this is your last chance!! Saturday, May 2nd 1PM-2:30PM - Washington Park. Register in bio ✨ 🌱

This season, we laughed, we created, we unplugged. Some of us hadn’t slowed down like that in a long time. Being outside, noticing the small details, and sharing space in community felt simple — but powerful.

It reminded us that nature has a way of holding us when we let it.

We’re inviting you back for our Final Mindfulness in Nature Hike on Saturday, May 2nd from 1–3 PM at the Urban Ecology Center – Washington Park. This time, we’ll focus on breath, presence, and intentional movement through the trails.

If you’ve been craving a moment to reset, this is it. Link in bio to register! 🌱

Thanks to everyone who joined us for our “grocery run” event celebrating the 3-year anniversary of Milwaukee’s Black owned grocery store Sherman Park Grocery Store

We made so many new connections with folks who stopped by our table eager to learn more and join the movement.

Our group did a 2 mile run/walk loop to Sherman Park from the grocery store. At the park we had a discussion about the connections between food access and community safety.

We discussed the 2016 police shooting of Seville Smith near Sherman Park that sparked uprisings and also inspired Moe Wince to open the Sherman Park Grocery Store.

Physical movement is one part of our mission; having critical conversations that raise our consciousness and inspire action is another.

Join us for our next event “Run on the One” on August 16th to celebrate the 15 year anniversary of the Community Arts & Funk Festival

RSVP by visiting runontheone.eventbrite.com

While you’re at it, order a RBG shirt by sending us an email at runblackandgreen@gmail.com or DM. Shirts are $20. We have limited availability for sizes S-3X. Designed by Dante Lavell and Nateya Taylor

You see how we’re rolling. I’d hate for you to miss out. Order your shirt today!
