If we don’t pay attention, time will speed us through life. If we aren’t careful, we’ll only live in the big moments: weddings, vacations, concerts. Yet most of our existence is made up of the humdrum normalcy of our day to day life: the “in between” space to those grander events. When we take the time to notice and honor the small things - the flavors in a cup of tea, the beauty of few fall leaves, a quiet moment at dusk - that’s when we are able to slow time down and live in the moment.
