🌱 Hot off the press from The American Journal of Endocannabinoid Medicine (AJEM): a Case Report written with my 2 favorite Cannascientists--> Unlocking the Power of (minor) Cannabinoids for Mental Health 🧠

The pandemic has taken a toll on mental health, and pharamaceuticals are not the sole answer for the treatment of psychological conditions 🤯 Evidence suggests that cannabinoid-based therapy may be a game-changer for anxiety disorders (but most research only focuses on the anxiolytic effects of )🌿

After consulting with a specialist, the individual in this case report introduced cannabigerol into their treatment regimen, which led to a significant decrease in anxiety symptoms. 🙌

This highlights the importance of exploring minor cannabinoids for mental health treatment and the need for more research into their therapeutic potential. 💡

BALTIMORE: Join us this weekend at the Black Canni Conference! This groundbreaking event celebrates Black entrepreneurs and leaders in the cannabis industry.

My topic: 10/14 at 2 pm:
By addressing the complex issues surrounding cannabis, mental health, and health equity within the Black healthcare community, my presentation aims to foster a deeper understanding of the challenges at hand and inspire action toward positive change. The healthcare landscape in the United States stands on the cusp of a significant change, with cannabis potentially entering the realm of prescription drugs as it undergoes rescheduling. However, as we look ahead, it is imperative that we do not ignore the deep-seated racial disparities that persist within our healthcare system. These disparities must be addressed head-on to ensure that communities of color can fully reap the benefits of this rescheduling. Cannabis presents a unique opportunity for the healthcare industry to reinvent itself with a steadfast commitment to achieving health equity. By acknowledging and actively working to bridge these racial health gaps, we can lay the foundation for a more inclusive and equitable healthcare.

🌟 New Published Article Alert! 🌟

I am beyond jazzed to share that I had the incredible opportunity to coauthor an article recently, and it's now published in the prestigious journal- Current Therapeutic Research 📚!

It was an honor collaborating with such brilliant minds at the U of MN on this research, and I couldn't be prouder of the findings on dosing in a state regulated program 💡✨

The journal is open access, so the full article is available for free. Give it a read and let me know what you think https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0011393X23000188?utm_campaign=STMJ_AUTH_SERV_PUBLISHED&utm_medium=email&utm_acid=153565655&SIS_ID=&dgcid=STMJ_AUTH_SERV_PUBLISHED&CMX_ID=&utm_in=DM380756&utm_source=AC_📖🔍

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to this project, as well as to the scientific community for their continued support and encouragement for a federally illegal plant. 🌍🔬💙

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like to discuss the article further. Let's keep the scientific conversation going! 🗣️💭

MINNESOTANS: We are launching a Cannabis Business Accelerator to help individuals and communities that have been historically excluded from the cannabis industry due to the so-called war on drugs and who are potential social equity license applicants.

This free, 4-week program will start soon and includes a curated curriculum dedicated to the solidification of cannabis business knowledge, including cultivation, sales, Minnesota’s cannabis regulations, business and financial basics, banking resources, and more. The Cannabis Business Accelerator is open to Minnesotans, 21 years old or older, who have historically been excluded from the legal cannabis industry and who intend to apply for a social equity cannabis license in the state of Minnesota (documentation is required upon application).
