Hi everyone! I still can’t look at my phone for more than 0.7 seconds, so I asked Ben to share this for me. It’s been almost half a year since Linus’ Groom’s Party, and I wanted to share these a lot sooner, but life had other plans. But oh well, here we are.
It was a true honor to get to plan this party for Linus and Alexa. For those of you who don’t know, my health took a sharp decline just before the wedding, so much so that I didn’t even get to attend this party and was forced to miss the wedding itself. I won’t dwell on that much right now because it’s something that I’m still very brokenhearted about, so instead, I’m choosing to focus on how proud I am of how this party turned out.
These photos only do it partial justice because Ben took them and was juggling a million other things - and in fact, I can only say this because Ben told me that; my eyes are still so bad that I haven’t even been able to see these pictures yet. Yea...seriously, it’s been a tough year.
Anyway, thankfully, I was able to plan everything from home before my eyes fully went out, and I owe a tremendous debt to several people for serving as my hands (and eyes) in executing the party I dreamed of, even though I couldn’t be there to participate myself. Obviously, that includes Ben, but in addition to that, I’m so grateful to Ben’s parents, Eric and Susan, for hosting the event at their Grace So Amazing ranch, and especially to Susan for helping bring my floral visions to life. She’s absolutely phenomenal with all things floral, and she really made these ideas blossom (see what I did there).
