👶🏽💙 DoulaBaby 240 Baby boy born 12/2025 - Another ♻️ repeat family. What I love about this family is how they are an intergenerational household. Many appointments and the birth included Mom, Dad, Big Sister 👶🏽 Grandma and Grandpa. All hands were on deck 🫶🏽🫶🏽 Grandma says “you will help deliver all of my grandbabies” 👌🏽👌🏽 yess I will 😁🥰

👶🏽 DoulaBaby 238 💙 Baby-boy born 10/2025. 🔁 Repeat family‼️I enjoyed supporting this family for their second birthing experience. It was a different vibe in the room this time. Honestly I believe it’s because Mom made a different hospital choice to birth her baby. One fond memory during this birth was how much resistance Mom gave when I suggested walking the halls. However she still did it and the baby was born a few short hours later. Thank you for choosing me to be your Doula again. 💖

👶🏽 DoulaBaby 237 Babygirl born 10/2025. This is the day I was introduced to a whole playlist of Rod Wave. I always encourage my clients to create a playlist of songs that help them get through and this was your Moms favorite artist to do just that. All hands were on deck with your Grandma and Aunty in the room‼️1️⃣ additional memory was how during the pushing phase I became the comfort tool that your Mom pulled into the bed during each contraction. I’m still in need of a massage 💆🏽‍♀️🤣🤪 Thank you for choosing me to support you during this pregnancy and your birth. 💖

The strength of your Mother shows in the strength of BOTH of you. We're looking for 30 more pregnant women to be a part of our study. Please share if you know anyone that meets the following criteria.

✔️ Identify as Black women
✔️ Are currently pregnant (between 14–26 weeks)
✔️ Are receiving prenatal care
✔️ Are between 18–45 years old
✔️ Can read and write in English

The Black Coalition for Safe Motherhood (BCFSM) and Capella University doctoral candidate Lisa Cohn are conducting a research study to explore the impact of our 90-minute virtual ACTT workshop. ACTT is a powerful and interactive experience that helps moms learn how to:

A-sk questions until they understand the answers
C-laim their space in healthcare settings
T-rust their bodies
T-ell their stories

Participants will receive $100 as a thank-you for their time, and their total time commitment is approximately 2.5 hours over 6–8 weeks.

All sessions and surveys are online, and personal information is kept 100% confidential.
