Our Clinical Director, Bria is doing what she does best—bringing people together in ways that actually support our healing.

Through her Project ECHO fellowship, she’s organizing a panel at Reviving Roots that looks at wellness as a full picture—mind, body, and spirit.

Featuring:
Marlee James
Jamal James
Daria Frazier
Camille Cyprian

We’re talking nutrition, movement, and the ways our bodies hold what we’ve been through—and how we care for ourselves moving forward.

There will be food. There will be community. There will be real conversation.

Money Moves is back this April.

This series breaks down money in clear, practical ways — budgeting without guilt, understanding credit, making sense of debt, and learning how systems are designed to keep things confusing. It’s real information you can actually use, shared in a way that respects where people are starting from.

Pull up if you want tools, not judgment, and honest conversation about building stability and options over time.

In this moment — with so much fear, pressure, and state harm in the air — taking care of our mental health is not individual work.

It’s community work.

Reviving Roots is rooted in the belief that healing happens when we’re not isolated, when we’re held, and when we’re honest about what we’re carrying. That’s Black history too.

Meet the team behind Money Moves.💰

Michael Dorsey, Chief Intelligence Officer at Small Business Financial Intelligence, helps people make sense of money with real, practical tools.

Brittany Powell, Clinical Trainee at Reviving Roots, will help us stay grounded and reflective as we work through what money brings up emotionally.

Together, they’re guiding a 4-part series that blends financial education and emotional wellness — because our relationship with money is also about healing.
