UPDATE: 2/9/26: We are STILL IN NEED of financial donations for our neighbors, any amount helps! ❤️ I haven’t been able to come up with a goal amount as I thought I would, probably because I don’t see an end in sight. I imagine once this particular beautiful family is as stable & safe as possible, there’s going to be another family & another & another 💔... I, along with many others by my side, will keep caring, helping, & fighting for every person in everyway we can, which also means, I will continue to ask for money! ❤️ so THANK YOU ❤️ to the individuals that have contributed! Your donations had a direct positive impact on our neighbors in North Mpls! The support shown thus far has been INCREDIBLE! Truly beautiful! Keep it up! ❤️‍🩹

🤍✨🖤HOBT will continue to be a safe meeting space for making peaceful art and spreading puppet joy. To continue to foster safe space we will be celebrating GROUNDHOGS DAY! A holiday that anticipates shadow and hope for brighter days✨

On February 2nd we will host a short performance “Morphological Plasticity” by shadow puppeteers Jordan Olsen and Laini Szostkowski.

Following the performance we will have materials available and puppeteers on hand to help participants explore the beautiful art of shadow puppetry 🤍✨🖤
This event is Free and for all ages!

Our city has been holding a lot of grief these past weeks. In moments like this, we turn to care, creativity, and one other.
This Thursday we’re opening our doors to anyone who needs to process, feel, make, or simply be in community. In the wake of ongoing state violence in our city, this is one small way we can heal.
Come print a poster, draw, or experiment. If you’re already working on a project and just need space, you’re welcome to bring it. We would love to hold space with you.
