Dr. Huacai Wang,(1933-2013) was one of my main mentors and teachers of Chinese medicine. He and his wife Nanying were incredibly kind and generous to me when I first started and gave me my first job in medicine the day I graduated. Every day in clinic was a master class and precious gift. I was always treated like family. He was born on January 15, 1933 in Yong Ding, Fujian Province, China to his parents, Bao Quan Wang and San Niang Chen. Dr. Wang was the 2nd of 3 children. He married Nanying Zhou in Long Yan, Fujian Province, China on September 19, 1956. They had 4 children. Dr. Wang came from a family with a long heritage of generations of doctors specializing in Traditional Chinese Medicine. He practiced both conventional Western medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine in his long career. He and his wife started Chinese Solutions Herbal Medicine Center in Saint Petersburg, Florida, in 1994 and became the most well-known Chinese Medicine practice in the Tampa Bay area, with clients coming from all over the world.
