Alumni Excellence Award️ Recipient 🦸 Meet Sandip Saha, MD '10, Head of Interventional Pulmonology at Buffalo General Medical Center. His medical journey began at age 10 when he witnessed his father's heart attack. Today, he's meeting the crucial need for more interventional pulmonologists. "The lungs are a dynamic, 3D space. You're using brushes, needles, cryo probes and robotic tools."​

Oh, and he appeared as an extra in DC Comics’ “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," and always wears a Superman T-shirt when on call at the hospital.

Jean-Dominique Foureau, MD ’21, continued military service before and after medical school. 🥼✨ He currently serves as the Emergency Battalion Surgeon for the 2-124 Infantry Battalion in the Florida Army National Guard. ​

"The army talks about how there's less than 1% of the US population that has what it takes to serve ... so I have some statistics for myself ... 0.38% of the US population has served in the military, right now, 0.029% of the population are medical students. That just speaks for itself."​
