North Carolina is facing a major Medicaid funding shortfall. While Governor Stein stopped the proposed 10% cuts, lawmakers still haven’t passed a budget — and without action, more cuts could put essential health services for kids at risk.

We’re excited to share that a new Lighthouse Autism Center will be opening in Cedar Falls in June 2026, located at 2300 Main Street, Suite 301. This will be our 50th location nationwide, 7th in Iowa, and second in Black Hawk County.

The Cedar Falls center will serve 21 families and offer a full range of play-based services, including:
• ABA therapy
• Speech therapy
• Autism diagnostic testing
• Virtual parent training
• Pre-academic learning and social skills groups

We’re proud to continue growing in Iowa and expanding access to high-quality, compassionate, play-based care for families in the Cedar Falls community.
