All parents who have endured a baby dying from miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS, chromosomal issues, congenital heart defects, abortion, and all other prenatal, perinatal, and neonatal causes or are pregnant or trying to conceive after a loss are welcome. Grandparents are also invited, as well as sensitive and interested OBGYN/grief staff (doctors, nurses, chaplains, social workers, etc.) . Whether your loss was a month or a year or 10 years ago (or more), we are here to openly share about, process, and support each other in life after loss. We started this group in May 2013 to help meet the need women have for ongoing support after experiencing the death of a child before, during, or after birth. This kind of loss and grieving can be very invisible and often trivialized. But the truth is that the pain is very real and legitimate, and the grief can be long and messy. We each feel this need for support ourselves, and so this group was born from our own experience and desire for a community of healing.
