Maximize Your Physical Therapy Benefits Before the Year Ends!
As the year winds down, it's easy to put health goals on the back burner. Many people say, "I'll deal with that next year."
But on 01 Jan 2026:
1. Deductibles Reset: You pay a set amount for your care (your deductible) before your insurance pays more. If you've already met or are close to meeting your deductible this year, your remaining physical therapy sessions could be at little to no cost. Waiting until January means starting over and paying that full deductible again.
2. Out-of-Pocket Maximums: Once you hit your out-of-pocket maximum, your insurance typically covers 100% of the costs for the rest of the year.
3. FSA Funds Expire: Flexible Spending Accounts are a "use it or lose it" system. The money you set aside, tax-free, for healthcare expenses (like physical therapy copays and treatments) often does not roll over.

Posterior Cervical Foraminotomy is a surgical procedure often recommended for patients suffering from nerve compression in the cervical spine. This condition can lead to significant neck pain and discomfort, often affecting the quality of life. Foraminotomy involves removing bone or tissue to relieve pressure on the nerve roots, thereby alleviating pain and restoring normal function.

While surgery addresses the structural cause of nerve compression, post-operative recovery is crucial for regaining full mobility and strength. Physical therapy plays an essential role in this recovery process, helping to ensure that patients regain their pre-surgery levels of activity and functionality.

10/10/2025

Shoulder open reduction with internal fixation (ORIF) is a surgical procedure designed to repair severe fractures by realigning the bone fragments and securing them using plates, screws, or rods. This procedure is often necessary for complex fractures that cannot be healed with a cast or splint alone. The goal of ORIF is to restore the normal anatomy of the shoulder, ensuring that the joint can function properly.

The Importance of Post-Surgical Physical Therapy:
Physical therapy is a crucial component of recovery following shoulder ORIF. It helps patients regain strength, mobility, and function while minimizing pain and preventing complications such as stiffness or muscle atrophy. The rehabilitation process typically begins shortly after surgery and can last several months, depending on the severity of the injury and the patient’s overall health.

Explore post-surgical recovery through physical therapy for shoulder open reduction with internal fixation. Enhance mobility and reduce pain.
