I know everyone has heard about these calendars for People & Animal Learning Services (PALS), lol. I have been touting them for months now. I have met all the challenges of getting them made, but now I have to meet the challenge of selling them.

Brandon told me that 1,000 calendars sold is probably not going to happen and that I reached too high. I'm glad he did, because it makes me want to do it even more. Maybe I can't, but I am going to accept the challenge. If not, then it's a lesson for another day.

I can ship anywhere in the world, they are $20 each, a flat $6 shipping rate (I cover anything if it is over that), and each calendar helps (100% of all calendar proceeds) PALS build back their facility after the tornado.

Most people have at least one calendar in their home, right? Perfect Holiday gift as well as donation! 2 for the price of one!!!

These last few weeks have been insane. First, it was our first ever Modesto Fall Festival. Then came the People & Animal Learning Services (PALS) Halloween with the Horses event the next weekend. Enter in Augie starting his hip hop dance classes and a big community project. Lord, I need a nap. At least Augie is loving dance and is excited to continue exploring it.

If you are local, remember, meeting on November 5th at 6 pm at the Modesto Community Center. Let's get the abandoned gas station turned into something better than what it is now.

Oh yeah, finally printed all the shipping labels for the calendars to support PALS. Thank you so much for the pre-orders. I was going to ship them out earlier in the week, but life and the realization I needed do not bend stickers has gotten in the way. Stickers are in tomorrow, labels bought. I have little flyers to pass out to businesses in the hopes we can get these 1,000 calendars sold!

Lucky for me, My Ellie Bean is here helping me out. Anyone have a good lock on a dog friendly chair for my office???? I think I am going to need it. Must fit two chihuahuas. 😂

Come on out and bring the whole family! I mean, come on, horses in costumes, food vendors, you can shop some amazing vendors, and support a good cause.

Plus my beautiful face will be there at check in! 😂

The calendars are here, the Modesto Fall Festival is done and I can breathe again...... I am going to get envelopes to get them sent out. If you have ordered one and needed shipping, they will go out in the mail at the beginning of next week. I am covering the costs of the envelopes and any shipping that is over the $6 flat rate.

I can arrange for local pickup down at the farm. I plan on having a few down there so it is easy to grab them. If you haven't already paid there is a cash box in the lean to we check daily.

There is no daylight left. Brandon and Augie are cuddled up in bed for a special night of Die Hard. It's a CHRISTMAS movie!!! I am still burning the midnight oil. Sometimes I wish I could stop, but that's not really me.

Dennis Shea from Printing Partners drove all the way down from Indy to drop off the calendars for People & Animal Learning Services (PALS) .

We will have them at the Modesto Fall Festival for sale $20 each. I had an amazing group of donors that came together to try to make $20,000 for this organization that lost their whole therapeutic riding center in a tornado.

Tired of me saying it? Well, too bad for you. I gonna keep saying it. They need the help. I saw their facility for the first time after the devastation the other day and I just stared at it. Because sometimes you have to take in the hurt so you know why you are doing something. If you want to know what it looks like, it is rubble. The staff uses porta potties. They finally have lights getting installed.

I understand when a disaster happens, it is quick for people to help. Having my background, I also know that there can be donor fatigue and we all are living our own lives. We get busy. No one's fault; no blame. We all do it.

But can we all agree that we need a calendar in the house? I won't lie and say Tractor Supply Co. doesn't have any amazing variety, but I think we offer something a bit different. Check it out. And by the way Tractor Supply is my total go to. 😂
