We had the privilege of working with Liberty Center Fire Department for the past two days to get them TECC certified.

Day 2 of this class is very busy and intense. Our participants go through high stress scenarios using the training and information they learned on day one. These first responders have never been through our class before and they all gave 110% the entire time!

We had an amazing group of “victims” come in and volunteer for our big scenario. These students make all this training come together for the last scenario and make it as real as they can for everyone.

Special thanks to Chief Dotson for treating us to Outlaw Smokehouse for lunch! Let us know when you guys need recertified!

We started our training to for Tactical Emergency Casualty Care Class here at Liberty Washington Twp Fire. This is a 16 hour classroom and hands on scenario class over two days.

Tomorrow we will be out at Liberty Center Schools from 8am-3pm. Be advised that there will be what sounds like gun shots, screaming and running in and out of the building. THIS IS A DRILL. So if you hear or see anything going on at the school there is no emergency.

Thank you
Chief Dotson

We would like to introduce one of our new instructors Ken.

Ken started his career in 2009 at 18 years old. He began as a part time/volunteer at Rossford Fire Department and left there in 2015. In 2013 he was hired by a large law enforcement agency where he is currently still at. He has worked full time SWAT for roughly 4 years. He was promoted to Sergeant and has been in the Gang Task Force for roughly 5 years. Ken has ran a tactical medical team since 2021. He is certified OPOTA instructor, NREMT Instructor, TCCC, TECC, BCON, PHTLS, and Active Threat.

We are very excited to have Ken join our team. He brings great real life experience and has ton of knowledge in this field.

Our instructors from Northwest Ohio TECC spent the last two days with Southwestern Hancock Joint Fire District. This was this departments first time with us and they brought great energy both days. Each member of this department was very receptive and eager to learn everything they could from us in the short time we had together.

We look forward to working with you all again and getting you recertified when you are all ready!

Huge thank you to our volunteer “victims”! The realism they bring to scenario day is unmatched and we are extremely grateful for the dedication they have.

Thank you Chief Corey Miracle for your hospitality.

Instructors from Northwest Ohio TECC spent the last two days with Bluffton EMS. Day 1 was conducted by our Lead Instructor Les Case.

Day two was scenario day. With assistance from Bluffton PD and members of the Bluffton University Football team as "victims", class participants were given comprehensive Rescue Task Force training.

We want to thank Bluffton EMS, Bluffton PD, and Bluffton University for their dedication to keeping their community safe.
