Mondovi might be snowed in… but the Local Sips Club is officially a thing starting Tuesday. ☕✨

At Purely Local we realized something.

A lot of you aren’t just stopping in for a drink… you’re part of the daily rhythm around here. The “good morning cold brew,” the “after school lotus,” the “quick chai before errands.”

So we decided it deserved a name.

Welcome to the Local Sips Club.

Here’s how it works:
Every drink you grab earns a punch on your card.
10 punches = your 11th drink on us.

Lotus teas.
Cold brew.
Chai.
Matcha (coming soon 👀).

But honestly… it’s less about the free drink and more about the club.
The familiar faces.
The quick chats at the counter.
The little pause in the middle of a busy day.

When the snow lets up and we open back up, grab a punch card and officially join the club.

For everyone’s safety, Purely Local will be CLOSED Monday due to the winter storm rolling through the area.

We want our staff and customers staying safe, warm, and off the roads while the weather does its thing.

Come play putt putt!

The Shamrock Shuffle is just around the corner, and this is one event the whole family can enjoy! Grab your crew (teams of 2–4 people) and get ready to putt your way through town.

13 local businesses will each host a mini putt-putt hole, turning Mondovi into one big, lucky mini golf course for the night. Buzz's Bar and Grill, Fuel Factory, Purely Local LLC., Weiss Realty, LLC, Alliance Bank, Waumandee State Bank, Ntec, Preece Financial Service, CCFBank, 4 Kegs Saloon & Restaurant - Mondovi, WI, Simply Rustic Boutique, Doug George Plumbing, and Refine Medspa Suites.

☘️Scorecards available starting at 4:00 PM
☘️Turn in your card by 8:00 PM to be entered.

We already carried Evergreen Apothecary at Purely Local, and after seeing how well people responded to it, we decided to expand the lineup.

Now on the shelf we have support for:

One of the best parts of the shop is being able to test, research, and learn from what actually works, and when something proves itself… we make room for more of it.

This was NOT the product testing method I planned…

Last week I managed to burn my neck with a curling iron. 🔥 If you know me, you know everyone loves my long hair… but sometimes it fights back.

I took a picture the day it happened and another today. For the past week I’ve been putting our Eczema Balm on it every day and I’m honestly amazed how fast it healed. You can barely notice it now. Literally ONE WEEK.

One thing I’ve learned owning this store is that a lot of these products end up being dual purpose. When people come in and ask questions, a lot of my answers come from research on the ingredients and real-life experiences like this one.

So far this balm has helped multiple people with eczema, acne, random rashes, dry skin… and now apparently curling iron burns.

I have a feeling it’s going to be pretty great for sunburn this summer too.

We’ll be closing a little early today to run a few errands for the store and grab some things we need. Sometimes keeping the shelves stocked means a quick trip out the door.
