Even when I am quiet, I’m always working on something for Tenaciously Fit.. I remember saying very often that when I was finally able to, I wanted as least many ingredients on my label as possible. This was so important to me that I was about to manufacture a protein powder formulation of my own. Every time I would find a clean whey isolate, I would test it in my snacks and it just wouldn’t work. I finally found one that doesn’t change the taste at all and is sourced from what I believe is the very best available ⭐️ ⁣⁣

This is where I self reflect. This is where I train my mind to be stronger than my emotions. This is where I become the best version of myself possible. The aesthetics that follow weight lifting are awesome, but the affects that CANT be seen in a photo outweigh looking the part - by far. I believe with every part of me that treatment for mental health should begin with exercise and eating well. Our bodies are meant to MOVE and you only get one 🌟.

It’s a lot of trial and error and it can leave you frustrated and mentally exhausted, I’ve been there. I went from doctor to doctor until I finally found a good gastroenterologist who was able to help me. I went through so many years of tests I actually didn’t really need to.. all I needed was a blood test done at my primary care doctors office and everything clicked from there. I still needed another colonoscopy to “confirm” it was celiac I was going to need to work around. To be honest, if you go through the hurdles of removing wheat from your diet (which takes a lot of learning as it’s literally in .. everything lol) and you feel better you DO NOT need a diagnosis to live gluten free. You’re not missing out on any nutrients you can’t get from other food when you remove it from your eating.. disclaimer I am not a doctor but respectfully, I wouldn’t be in good health today had I not read all the books I possibly could and done a lot of self study on my own. If you need help with this adjustment on the road to healing your gut I GOT YOU ❤️ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

If a man doesn’t like what you’re doing ladies.. show him where that door is 🥰

He needs to be reminded that while he’s throwing shade at you, he’s revealing to the world he’s got some inner demons to work on himself.

When you experience getting stronger physically, the carry over mentally is unexplainable.

Flex your muscles and be proud of the hard work you put into building them. None of this happens overnight!

Did you know that the sweeteners that are so commonly found in “health” foods are also prominently used in stool softeners? This is because of the reaction it has on our digestive tracts.

After you take stool softeners, you’ll almost immediately feel some bloat, gas and discomfort in your stomach. The sugar alcohols in the “keto friendly, net carb products” also have this effect on most of the population.

Pictured here are Thinkthin and Robert Irvines protein bars..but the list is SUPER long for the brands that are using these harmful ingredients. If you don’t feel symptoms after eating these foods, it is still doing damage to the gut lining you may find out in some time.. whether a few months down the line or a few years down the line. I’ve always been a big fan of preventing diseases and conditions before they come about and reek havoc on our lives 💪

👋 If you can’t talk about the things that light you up inside to the people around you without feeling like an inconvenience... it’s probably time to change the people who are around you.

If you have found something that makes you excited, motivated and that adds value to your life and your friends/family fail to cheer you on.. I beg you to not let them stop you.

I understand what it means to feel completely unsupported. I understand what it feels like to have people around you who don’t want to listen to your rants and help ignite your fire. I also understand how god damn important it is to kick them out of your circle and stay true to yourself.

It’s absolutely awesome to hear someone speak about something that they are passionate about. I admire and appreciate that energy so much! I find it super rewarding to be able to educate others about the things I love. If I asked you.. what was THAT one single thing you couldn’t get tired of talking about - what would you tell me?

What we eat directly impacts EVERYTHING we do. That’s why I created Tenaciously Fit. Grateful for those following along 😍

👩‍🍳❤️Created in the kitchen, where food was meant to come from. I’ve always loved cooking, my obsession deepened when I learned I was celiac at age 21. I had to figure out how to nurse myself back to health. Medicine was not the answer .. my hormones were way off, digestion was a mess, anemic etc. I’m so thankful for my journey although it felt never ending at the time 🥵

I LOVE creating meals/foods that are good for you and also taste good. I’m up against some battles to prove that it’s possible, and due to tons of false marketing in the fitness/health space 😅 I’ve got some serious educating to do.

If you know me...you know damn well I’m up for that challenge
