Delano Owens was taken into custody this morning in Ruston. Owens was wanted by the Grambling Police Department for False Imprisonment, Resisting an Officer, Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling, 2nd Degree Battery of a Dating Partner w/ Strangulation, Simple Escape, Theft, and Violation of a Protective Order. Owens was also wanted by the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office for two counts of 2nd Degree Kidnapping, 2nd Degree R**e, Stalking, and Aggravated Burglary.

Owens is currently being held at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center.

Meet the Flowers Family!
We are a family deeply rooted in faith, community, and each other. My wife, Sherri, serves as the administrative assistant at our local church with love and dedication. She also holds licenses in investments and life insurance, allowing her to help families prepare for the future while protecting against catastrophic losses. She’s awesome!

We have three wonderful children:

Krislynne holds a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies from S.U.M. She splits her time between teaching dance at Carolyn’s Dance Land and coordinating camps at Seekers Springs.

Seth, our creative artist, will graduate in 2025 with a degree in Graphic Design from LA Tech. He works hard to support himself and his English Bulldog, Rylo.

Kameron is set to graduate in 2025 with a biology degree but is considering a double major in chemistry. He plans to become an orthodontist and currently works at Little Veterinarian Services, where he enjoys caring for animals.

As for me, I love ministering at the local prison, serving people in the community, hunting, and constantly learning and growing with others. Working with security and alarm systems helps me fulfill my mission to help protect families.

Hello Active family. Here are 6 helpful steps that I found on www.ready.gov to help us during the shelter at home directive. Everyone remain safe.

Stay-At-Home

1. Remain indoors as much as possible, and try to only leave your home when absolutely necessary. If your home has outdoor spaces, such as patios, porches, yards, etc. you may still access them.
2. Outdoor activities such as walking, jogging, and exercise, as well as walking your dog, are fine as long as you practice social distancing (maintaining six feet away from the next person).
3. When outside, try not to touch anything (light signals, poles, signs, playground equipment, benches, etc.) because the Coronavirus can remain on certain surfaces for multiple hours.
4. Essential services such as grocery shopping, filling your car with gas, pharmacies, going to the Post Office, etc. are still fine to do.
5. Limit visitors if possible. Try to utilize video chatting. Call the people the you would normally text.
6. If available, use delivery services for groceries, meals, and other items. It is advisable to clean every item’s packaging with sanitizing wipes or other 60% alcohol products before putting away or placing on home surfaces. Make sure to wash any open foods (such as fruits, vegetables, etc.) before eating.
