Mental Health America in Montgomery Mental Health America in Montgomery (MHA-M) is dedicated to supporting those with mental illness and promoting good mental health in our community.

Mental Health America in Montgomery is a non-profit United Way Agency that serves individuals with mental illness. "The purpose of Mental Health America in Montgomery is to develop a coordinated citizens volunteer movement to work toward:

1) the improved care and treatment of persons with mental illness,

2) the empowerment of clients to improve and enhance the quality of their lives,

3) the public education and promotion of good mental health,

4) the early intervention and assessment of emotional and mental disorders,

5) the advocacy of education and research to promote mental wellness and to benefit the mentally ill."

Holiday joy is in the air, which means it's time for Operation Santa Claus! Mental Health America in Montgomery provides Christmas gifts each year to about 400 persons with chronic mental health conditions. These individuals have almost no family support, and very few will receive a Christmas gift. You can help by:

🎁 Donating Funds - Donate a $25 Walmart gift card or visit bit.ly/MHAMDONATE to make a donation that will help us purchase gifts.
