Rest isn’t laziness. It’s a necessary part of emotional regulation, healthy relationships, and overall mental well-being.

Rest restores the nervous system, protects your capacity for connection, and helps you respond rather than react.

When we slow down, our bodies integrate what we’ve been carrying. Our minds organize what we’ve been avoiding. And our relationships benefit from a calmer, more present version of us.

At Works of Wonder Therapy, we help individuals, couples, and families learn how to honor their limits, listen to their bodies, and build rhythms of rest that support real healing. Message us today if you’re ready to create healthier rhythms for yourself or your relationships.

How do you give yourself permission to rest?

This licensure represents years of dedication, study, and supervised clinical work, and we couldn’t be prouder. Megan’s compassionate, authentic approach helps clients feel seen, valued, and capable of change.

She loves working with teens and young adults, guiding them toward greater self-awareness and self-worth, and helping them make meaningful changes in their lives.

She’s now accepting new clients Monday through Wednesday afternoons and can provide super bills for insurance reimbursement.

The way you talk to yourself becomes the way you treat yourself.
Self-compassion isn’t softness , it’s the fuel for emotional regulation, healthier relationships, and lasting change.

In therapy, we practice small phrases that gently shift your inner voice from criticism to curiosity, understanding, and hope.

At Works of Wonder, we help individuals, teens, couples, and families rewrite those internal messages with grace and intention, one step at a time.

Conflict isn’t a sign something is wrong, it’s a sign that something matters.
Healthy couples don’t avoid disagreement; they learn to stay connected in the middle of it.

The difference lies in how we approach the moment:
Healthy conflict creates understanding, while hurtful conflict creates distance.
In therapy, couples learn to slow down, listen without defense, and speak with both honesty and empathy.

At Works of Wonder Therapy, we help couples move from reaction to reflection. Building communication that restores trust and safety, even when emotions run high.

From a counseling perspective, understanding ADHD means looking beyond labels to see how brain patterns, stress responses, and environment all interact.
Therapy can help you develop tools for focus, self-understanding, and emotional regulation without shame or judgment.

At Works of Wonder, we now provide adult ADHD evaluations and counseling that combine evidence-based strategies with compassionate support.

Healing isn’t just about doing more, it’s about learning to see yourself differently.
When you shift the way you think about your story, you create room for compassion, growth, and peace.
In therapy, we explore these small but powerful mindset shifts that change everything. From self-criticism to self-understanding, from striving to grace, from isolation to connection.

At Works of Wonder Therapy, we help individuals, couples, and families notice the patterns that keep them stuck and build new ways of relating to themselves and to one another.

Which mindset shift resonated most with you?

In marriage, it’s often the everyday moments, not the big events, that shape connection. Small bids for attention, gentle responses, and shared daily rhythms create the foundation for emotional safety. Therapy gives partners space to slow down, understand their patterns, and rebuild connection with intention and care. At Works of Wonder, we help couples strengthen the small moments that make a big difference.

We have availability for couples seeking to reconnect, adjust to relationship changes, or who are working through difficult times. Our session rates start at $35 and we offer Telehealth appointments as well as in-office. Message us today to set your get your first appointment booked.
