KMC Active

Our passion is educating people about movement, fitness, nutrition, and community.

KMC Active is a gym located on the campus of Kirby Medical Center in Monticello, IL. All of these things work together and require a responsible, common sense approach. Our promise is to incorporate that which is beneficial to our body, mind, and overall health. Our goal is to provide our community with a high quality, fun training environment and the necessary attention they need each time they train with us.

Time is running out!
We only have 10 spots left for the 2026 Kirby Athletic Advantage!

This program uses healthcare professionals to guide your student-athletes to success. The program begins with 9 tests to establish a baseline for performance. Our training is focused on developing the skills needed to perform well on these tests in addition to any sport.

We officially have fewer than 15 slots remaining for the 2026 Kirby Athletic Advantage Program!

Still wondering what your student athlete should do over the summer?

Kirby Athletic Advantage is offered for incoming 6th graders up to 12th. This 8-week program meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays beginning on Monday, June 1st.

Our next Prep Course is coming up next week on March 6th. This is a 5-day course designed to get you ready for classes.

Class will be held from 6:30pm to 7:15pm, Monday - Friday. Once the course is completed, you can attend any class time that fits your schedule.

The 2026 Kirby Athletic Advantage is LIVE!

There are limited spots for this 8-week program. Our professional team of a Sports Performance Coach, Athletic Trainers, and Physical Therapists will work diligently to increase athletic performance for your kids.

Eligible ages are incoming 6th graders to Seniors in High School. Classes will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

That's a wrap on our 1st Bring-A-Friend-Week of the new year!

We had over 20 friends drop in to KMC Active last week. This was between all locations including Monticello, Atwood, and Cerro Gordo!

It was fun, challenging, and memorable.
