Whatcha doin Wednesday night?? Feel like hanging out with a group of super welcoming yogini’s, on a warm summer evening, with oak trees rustling overhead? Than come on, and join me for an eclectic Hatha style summertime slow paced yoga practice. It’s raining on the Cape today. Well, more like pouring. 😏 I’m glad Dave took me paddle boarding to Monks Cove when we got here yesterday. So today all I have are my pics from my class last weekend. The instructors Dad not only delivers the boards to the Cove for her class, he’s also a pretty awesome photographer.

Maharishi Mahesh Ashram. It was pretty far out. His followers built this ashram where the Maharishi practiced. Out in the middle of nowhere. The property is huge. The original section has individual 2 story huts that look a Buddha head

I've done some pretty cool things this week: hiked in the Himalayan foothills, dipped in a waterfall, toured sacred temples, touched the sacred cow, baptized myself in the Ganges river, let's see a gondola ride, experienced a pooja to bless our trip, had a Vedic reading, learned a little more about the Sutras and experienced a culture that has some interesting customs. Loved every minutes of it, but Looking forward to coming home:)

LAUREEN heads up... Animal stories: during our class this morning, every morning really, the monkeys make their pilgrimage to work. This morning, they sounded like elephants above our heads on the steel ridge roof that covers the porch we practice on. It was so loud we stopped to watch them monkey around.
Then this afternoon I stopped in a cafe for a tea and sandwich and as I was resting I watched a cow saunter on by down the street. It's really kinda cool here, for a short time... Don't get me wrong:)
