If your car seats are on your Spring cleaning list, make sure to double-check your manual for cleaning instructions. Manufacturers will provide guidance on safe cleaning techniques for their seats. An additional tip is to snap some photos as you remove the cover, so you know where all the elastic and snaps attach when you reassemble your clean car seat cover.

Puffy layers prevent the harness from being snug, plus the car gets hot! To keep your child safe and comfortable, you can warm up your car before you go or buckle your child up and tuck them in with a blanket.

Too much bulk in a coat can create extra room in the harness. Thinner layers provide the same warmth, and the harness will still fit snugly.
