True story.

I wore sunglasses to class because I thought the room would be too bright. When I got there, the room was dark for the projector, and I thought I was finally safe.

Then a classmate’s phone flashed. I had a panic attack and felt embarrassed.

But I didn’t leave school. I stepped out, got some air, and came back. Another classmate majoring in nursing comforted me.

Some battles are invisible. Some victories are quiet.
