For the past 2.5 years, Moodr Health has proudly partnered with Vandalia Health’s Progressing through Postpartum (P3) Program at Mon Health to strengthen perinatal mental health care across Appalachia. 💚

Together, we’ve built a scalable maternal health program that combines automated mental health screening, predictive analytics in behavioral health, and clinician workflow optimization, all while keeping moms and families at the center.

The impact:

✨ 5,000+ patients engaged
✨ 85% patient engagement rate
✨ 43% improvement in mood disorder scores with treatment
✨ 150,000+ clinician–patient messages exchanged annually

Clinicians have shared that the platform improves care navigator efficiency and allows them to focus on what matters most...proactive, personalized care.

We are incredibly proud of what this partnership has accomplished for families in West Virginia.

As we continue highlighting the incredible organizations in our Early Innovators community, we’re proud to honor West Virginia Junior College - Charleston Campus. 🤝

Our partnership began in April 2024 with an innovative pilot program designed to prioritize mental health during nursing education. Launched at the WVJC Charleston campus, this initiative provided proactive mental health support to a cohort of 50 nursing students as they began their nursing journey.

After seeing the impact and success of the initial pilot, we were able to expand the program to additional cohorts across multiple WVJC campus locations statewide, reinforcing WVJC’s commitment to supporting students both inside and outside the classroom. 🚀

We’re especially grateful to Chad Callen, CEO of WVJC, for his leadership, vision, and commitment to student well-being. Thank you to Chad and the entire WVJC team for championing innovation in nursing education, and for being such a strong partner in this work. 🏆

We’re honored to work alongside WVJC, and excited to continue growing this partnership in 2026 and beyond! Thank you for exemplifying the mission and values behind our Early Innovators program. ✨🌱

Moodr Health Early Innovators Spotlight: Prestera Health Services💡

Since 1967, Prestera has been a cornerstone of behavioral health in West Virginia, growing from a small community mental health center into the state’s largest nonprofit behavioral health provider. Today, their team of 600+ serves nine counties through 65+ locations and delivers over 780,000 appointments every year.

Prestera’s impact reaches far beyond their walls. Their mobile units bring care to rural communities, their recovery programs support individuals on their healing journeys, and they’re actively partnering to build a new low-barrier shelter and crisis facility that will transform access to care in the region.

What inspires us most is their commitment to humane, person-centered care—including the many Prestera clients who later become employees, giving back to the community that lifted them up.

We’re proud to recognize Prestera as part of Moodr Health’s Early Innovators campaign, highlighting organizations that are reshaping the future of mental wellness and community care.
