NOW HIRING: Front Office Patient Care Coordinator (Floater – Full-Time)

Tristar Physical Therapy is seeking an experienced, full-time Front Office Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) to join our growing, people-centered team. This role is essential to delivering an exceptional patient experience from the very first phone call to the final visit and beyond.

This position will begin full-time and requires the ability to float between multiple clinic locations.

Key Responsibilities

Front Office & Administrative Duties (including but not limited to):

-Answer phones, manage computer-based tasks, and prepare reports
-Track statistics and support clinic operations
-Call and follow up with incoming leads from online sources and Facebook ads
-Schedule new patient evaluations and ongoing appointments
-Check patients in and out efficiently and accurately
-Collect patient paperwork and payments
-Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations
-Provide a VIP-level welcome and experience for every patient
-Maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume outpatient environment
-Have fun while helping people feel better and move better!

Requirements

-2–3 years of front desk experience (required)
-Healthcare insurance, billing, or collections experience (preferred)
-Sales skills, including objection handling
-Strong multitasking and quick problem-solving abilities
-Flexibility and adaptability—change happens fast, and you’re comfortable with it

Meet the owner.

Dr. Jordan Black, PT, DPT is Owner of Tristar Physical Therapy. Jordan is a native of Morristown, TN earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2013. He later completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in St. Augustine, Florida. Along with his educational experiences, Jordan has many clinic experiences including:


  • Student Athletic Trainer for the University of Tennessee football team from 2011-2013

  • Completion of manual therapy certification courses through the University of St. Augustine

  • Rehabilitating professional athletes from the NFL, NBA and MMA
