Ever since I could remember, I seemed to never fit in at any place I worked. It wasnât my cup of tea or something like that. In 2018 I finally got the call. It was God, or at least one of his angels. I woke up one morning around 1am and started writing down everything that was coming into my head! It flowed like a stream. It was effortless. Maybe thatâs whatâs itâs like to be in the writer zone?! Either way, my brains was being spilled upon with magnificent ideas!
I finished up four hours later and the journey began! Before I knew it, Iâm creating a Facebook group called Holistic Health Practitioners of Greater Cincinnati. When I finished putting together the Facebook group, I needed to find people who really wanted more than just âone slice fits allâ kind of person.
Once I started to invite people and tell them what I was up to, for some reason they started inviting other people almost instantly! Before I knew it, I was up over 750 people in one week! And it exploded from there!
We are getting ready to peak over 9,000 members soon, and in that time spam, HHP practitioners have been able to help guide, support, and educate people all over the country, and even in other countries! At this moment... âIâ became âWeâ! âWeâ was now connected to thousands of people. And now âWeâ could make a difference in a much bigger way.
HHP has brought together a family of holistic minded, selfless, heart centered, passionate, driven, honest, loving, and some of the most amazing practitioners in the area. These incredible people serve our community every day and provide alternative, complimentary, integrative, and holistic approaches to emotional, mental, physical & spiritual issues.
Donât me started about how incredible our culture of people are! Our community members are so much like our mission and vision. They just want to help someone too! We have averaged 85% activity (engagement as Facebook puts it) from our community. That tells me we are giving you what you want! I guess that works, so Iâll just keep doing that! So I have and I will continue to!
HHP is about âdoing whatâs in the very best interest of you and your love onesâ. Every decision is made on this principal! We want to help each of you to take back your health, and show you how to care for yourself, with some incredible support!
We are about to create an even better environment, a culture that brings people together, inspires, provides hope & possibilities! We want to bring you âroot causeâ treatments that give you the answers your medical professional so desperately needs, to provide a comprehensive, individualized, holistic health plan, so your body may heal itself.
Our future is bright, because âWeâ are Now âOneâ with you all, and the power of many has a much bigger voice, presence, confidence, will, and spiritual power to propel a movement that people truly desire- at least in my opinion. So we are never going to settle, we are going to push ourselves to bring you our best, because HHP (WE) are committed to serving in whatâs in the best interest of You!
You realize this is the cliffs notes version of this long 48 years of training called my life- soon to be a 49 year journey. The real story has been my (Rodney Blackburn) life leading up to this moment. The voyage I set out on, when coming back to this world was one to help people I guess, because I have been doing this my wholistic life!
After my mother past, after going through the zigs & zags of my life, I realized that God was preparing me with perspective. The life lessons, or what I call blessing, were some of the hardest, but I never gave up- of course. LOL! I persevered like you! I fought the PTSD symptoms like you! I wondered through life searching for answers, support, guidance, and information that would keep my âhope lightâ on. The light got pretty dim at times, but God somehow gave me strength, support, guidance, family, friends, and love power to get through the tough times (blessings).
So, this was a glimpse of my journey on how I got here. Whatâs yours? Are you ready to start healing? Are you ready to get truly honest with yourself and live a quality life that allows you to feel incredible again, or just... normal? We know you are in pain, thatâs why we do what we do. Nobody can deny that they donât experience lifeâs blessings- all of them! Only the innocent get out without the lessons we have experienced, and the perspective, joy, love, hate, pain, sadness, dramas, traumas, and everything else that God can offer.
