A huge THANK YOU to The Well , Kehler Aesthetics, O2 Studio Yoga, Tammy Nolan, MSN ARNP, Choice Health & Wellness, and Pam Strandberg who helped sponsor our Radical Remission Retreat!

Because of your generosity, we were able to provide scholarships for clients to attend this meaningful 3-day retreat.

A special thank you as well to Kelley Create for helping us with printing all of the retreat worksheets and materials that will help bring this experience together.

Your support goes far beyond sponsorship, it creates real impact for our clients navigating cancer.

We are so grateful for a community that continues to show up, give back, and stand beside our mission.

We are incredibly grateful to Nic Cawley-Murphree, PGA, Head Professional at Colockum Ridge Golf Course, for taking on the 6th Annual 100 Hole Marathon for CBCF on May 14, 2026.

Nic will be pushing himself to play up to 100 holes of golf in a single day! All to raise funds in support of our mission and the individuals and families in our community facing cancer.

This kind of dedication, time, and heart is what makes our community so special. We are truly honored that Nic has chosen to support CBCF in such a meaningful way.

Now, let’s rally behind him!

You can support Nic by donating (https://www.columbiabasincancerfoundation.org/donate), sponsoring his marathon, or simply cheering him on as he takes on this incredible challenge. Every contribution helps us continue providing critical support and resources to those who need it most.

Together, we can make a difference—one hole at a time.

Nic Cawley Murphree received the Deacon Palmer Award for his resilience, selflessness, and dedication to helping others. In the summer of 2025, he faced unexpected health challenges when an MRI revealed thyroid cancer. He underwent surgery and, just ten days later, teed it up in the Section Championship and his Chapter Championship. As he continues to recover, Nic is giving back by organizing his course’s first PGA 100-Hole Marathon, benefiting the Columbia Basin Cancer Foundation.

April is Volunteer Appreciation Month, we want to take a moment to recognize the incredible people who help keep CBCBF running every single day.

From our Meals to Heal delivery drivers, to the Big Bend Community College Athletics teams who jump in to help at events, to our dedicated office volunteers, and those who prepare nourishing support like our bone broth—each of you plays a meaningful role in the care we provide.

Because of you, our work reaches further. Because of you, our clients feel supported, seen, and not alone.

It truly takes a community to do what we do, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you.

Thank you for being the heart behind our mission. 💙

Every week we are fortunate to get donations of sliced apples from Okanagan Specialty Fruits. We donate these apples to local non-profits to feed those in need in our community. We are grateful for this relationship and being able to GIVE BACK to local non-profits. Thanks OSF!
