Retired teachers or those going into teaching or those interested in possibly working with high school students...we are looking for someone to work only 1 - 2 days a week - during teaching hours- to do instruction in the classroom on essential work skills to high school students.

We want to shout out a big congratulations here at BEST to our client, Nicholas for having maintained three steady month...

We want to shout out a big congratulations here at BEST to our client, Nicholas for having maintained three steady months of employment at Meijer! He has been working as a Courtesy Clerk there since February and loves it. Presently, Nick is studying at college with the hopes of eventually landing a career in welding, but he said that retrieving shopping carts and bagging groceries works for him just fine while he is taking classes. When asked about what he likes most about working at Meijer, Nicholas said, “I love my co-workers. They’re very warm, friendly and helpful.”

It has been an honor to work with Nicholas on all of his essential work skills throughout the last year. We are all proud of his hard work and success! Recently, in fact, we had the opportunity to check in with Nick and see how he is doing. He reiterated that he loves his job. We are glad to hear that. He also added, “BEST Essential Services helped me find a job and learn how to use public transportation. Because of this, I have the ability and confidence to get to work regularly and safely! I really liked working with the staff; they have helped me take small but important steps toward working on the road to a successful career. I thank you all, BEST!”
