Quinoa is one of my favorite super foods. Very versatile and easy to add to your regular menu planning. Add it to taco meat, meat loaf, and meatballs (made with all turkey or 1/2 turkey-1/2 lean beef), as a base for side salads or anywhere you use rice. It integrates well with whatever you put it with; try cooking it with chicken broth versus water for more flavor.
I'll admit that until recently, I'd never heard of quinoa (pronounced keen-wah). We didn't shop at the health food store when I was growing up, and quinoa isn't on the menu at many of the restaurants in my neighborhood. But this sweet little protein
