It is our responsibility to teach our children about the long-term impact our fitness and nutrition choices make today. We must commit to changing our own lives if we expect our children to take us seriously. TeachFit is designed to help educators, parents and other members of our community exercise and eat better. Quinoa is one of my favorite super foods. Very versatile and easy to add to your regular menu planning. Add it to taco meat, meat loaf, and meatballs (made with all turkey or 1/2 turkey-1/2 lean beef), as a base for side salads or anywhere you use rice. It integrates well with whatever you put it with; try cooking it with chicken broth versus water for more flavor.
