🚀✨ Space Week at Bloom Pediatric Therapy was out of this world!

Our therapists and kiddos blasted off into a week full of fun, learning, and skill-building. From astronaut obstacle courses and rocket-themed activities to sensory exploration and fine motor missions, every session helped our little explorers work on important developmental skills while having a stellar time. 🌟🪐

We love creating themed therapy weeks that keep kids engaged, motivated, and excited to learn. Watching our patients reach for the stars (and their goals!) is the best part of what we do. 💫

From therapy to real life 👏🏼

Using tongs in OT helps build:

✔️ Hand strength

✔️ Coordination

✔️ Fine motor control

And when those skills carry over to everyday tasks—like helping serve food at home—that’s a BIG win! 👏🏼

Functional skills. Real life independence.

That’s what we love to see at Bloom Pediatric Therapy 🌼💛

Oh, the places reading can take you! 🎩📚

This week at Bloom Pediatric Therapy we celebrated Dr. Seuss and Reading Across America with fun crafts, silly moments, and lots of stories. We love bringing books into therapy to build language, imagination, and a love for learning.

Watching our kiddos learn and grow through play (and a good book!) is the best part of our week. 💛

🌟 Sensory Series — Part 2 🌟

This week we’re diving into taste, proprioception, vestibular, and interoception. These sensory systems that help with body awareness, balance, movement, internal cues, and feeding experiences.

These systems play a huge role in coordination, emotional regulation, and how kiddos interact with their environment. Part 3 is coming soon where we’ll talk about signs of sensory processing differences!

✨ Sensory Series — Part 1 ✨

Let’s start with the foundations of how our kiddos experience the world! Today we’re highlighting the sensory systems of touch, smell, sight, and hearing. These systems are all essential for learning, safety, communication, and daily participation.

Understanding these systems helps us better support regulation, attention, and development. Stay tuned for Part 2 as we keep exploring sensory processing together!
