Your mind is trying to keep you safe — but sometimes it tells stories that aren’t true.
You notice someone look at you and laugh…
Your chest tightens.
“They’re judging me.”
But pause.
You don’t actually know that.
That’s mind-reading — assuming you know what someone else is thinking without real evidence. And it’s a huge cause of unnecessary worry and anxiety.
Next time your mind fills in the blanks, gently remind yourself:✨ This is a thought, not a fact.
