Providing professional Music Therapy services for children and families throughout the tri-county ar

My mission is to provide effective, professional Music Therapy services for children with special needs and their families. Services are rendered in client homes as well as in clinic settings, for both individuals and groups. Music Therapy sessions are targeted to client-specific goals in a variety of domains--language development, social skills, fine and gross motor skills, development of coping skills and relaxation strategies, and many others. My belief is that every person is worthy, and everyone can be reached through the power of music!

Ms Jen and Ms Evie had fun today up in Spartanburg, doing some Christmas caroling with their voices and their brass instruments. They loved having the chance to share some Christmas cheer with people all over town!

2025 Noteworthy holiday party was so much fun! We flew through the air at Fly High Bungee Fitness, exchanged Secret Santa gifts and had an amazing time celebrating the great year of growth Noteworthy has had! So thankful for my team of talented, dedicated music therapists, and we can’t wait for 2026!

Noteworthy is growing again! We're officially becoming a team of 4 with the upcoming addition of our newest team member, Ms. Evie! Evie graduated from Charleston Southern University in December 2024 after completing internship at Prisma Health Baptist Hospital in Columbia, SC. She was born and raised in Charleston, and her primary instrument is the French horn. She enjoys working with all populations, but especially loves working with those who have intellectual disabilities and/or those with mental health diagnoses. We're so excited to have her as an addition to the Noteworthy Music Therapy team, working with us in classroom groups and other settings! Fun fact: Ms Evie is getting married this Fall! 🫶

When you have groups planned but the building isn’t available, you improvise! Shady spot, parachute to sit on, Bluetooth speaker, and guitar on the sidewalk out of the dirt = success!! Was I drenched in sweat by the end of 2 groups? Yes. Was it fun, therapeutic and beneficial? Also yes. 👍🏻
