🧡✨ Holiday visits often reveal things we don’t see throughout the year. If you notice your senior loved one struggling with daily tasks, missing medications, or feeling isolated at home, it might be time to explore additional support.

Notice changes: Look for subtle signs of struggle, such as weight loss, balance issues, changes in hygiene, or difficulty with tasks they previously handled easily.

Assess the environment: Check for safety hazards like cluttered walkways, poor lighting, or unsteady furniture.

Encourage connections: Socialization is so important! Cold weather and icy conditions can lead to isolation. Help maintain traditions by decorating, singing carols, or watching festive movies together.

Be supportive: Acknowledge that your loved ones may be reluctant to admit they're having trouble. Be patient and have supportive conversations about any concerns you have.
