Difficulty swallowing can happen at any age, but it's more common in older adults. If it progresses into a disorder, called dysphagia and it can lead to malnutrition, weight loss, dehydration, aspiration pneumonia or choking. Come learn how you can tell the difference between normal age-related swallow changes and dysphagia and what you can do about it. Also, we will review some prevention tips and exercises to keep your swallow function strong to avoid dysphagia.
