How Exercise Supports Hormone Health >>

Regular movement does more than keep you fit, it helps maintain hormone balance through every stage of life.

Exercise can:

Lower stress hormones like cortisol

Improve insulin sensitivity for steady energy

Support estrogen and progesterone balance

Protect bone and muscle strength

Even light activity — walking, yoga, or strength training — makes a difference. It’s never too late to move for your hormone health.

Cycle Syncing: Work With Your Hormones

Your body moves in rhythms and so does your energy. When you flow with your cycle, everything feels a little easier.

Menstrual: Rest, reflect, and refuel.
Follicular: Energy is back. Start fresh and move more.
Ovulatory: You’re glowing. Connect, create, and go for it.
Luteal: Slow it down. Nourish and recharge.

When you listen to your body, it listens back.

Ovarian cysts are common and can affect women of all ages, especially during their reproductive years. Most cysts are harmless and often go away on their own without treatment.

Here are a few practical things to know:

Monitoring is key. Many cysts simply need observation with periodic ultrasounds.

Know the symptoms. Persistent pelvic pain, bloating, or changes in your cycle are signs to check in with your provider.

Prevention options exist. Hormonal birth control can help regulate your cycle and reduce the risk of new cysts forming.

Surgery is not always necessary. Procedures are considered only if cysts are large, painful, or cause complications.

If you’re concerned an ovarian cyst may be affecting your health, contact our office to discuss your symptoms and care options.

Fill in the blank!

Your _____ is a small, butterfly-shaped gland in your neck, but it plays a major role in how your body functions. It affects your metabolism, energy, mood, heart rate, and even skin and hair health.

??? Yep, lets talk thyroid health.

A few things to keep in mind:

Iodine and selenium are key nutrients for thyroid hormone production.

Fatigue, weight changes, dry skin, and mood shifts can sometimes signal thyroid imbalance.

Routine blood tests (TSH, T3, T4) help monitor thyroid function.

Support your thyroid with balanced nutrition, stress management, and enough rest.

Small gland. Big impact. Take care of your thyroid.

3 Concerning Reasons to Call or Visit Your OB During Pregnancy >

1️⃣ Bleeding or Spotting
While light spotting can be normal, heavier bleeding or cramping can be a sign of something serious, always get checked right away.

2️⃣ Severe Pain or Cramping
Persistent or sharp abdominal pain, especially if it’s not relieved by rest, can signal complications that need medical attention.

3️⃣ Changes in Baby’s Movement
If your baby’s kicks or movements suddenly slow down or stop, contact your OB immediately. Your baby’s activity is one of the best signs of their well-being

💬 When in doubt, always reach out. It’s always better to be safe and get reassurance from your OB.
